My daughter Kelby received her Awesome Dancer button at the 2007 Spotlight Nationals in Branson, Missouri from the event. She is the first one to get this button and can not wait until our first competition of the year to find the person that she will hand over her button too. This was very exciting for her to receive, and then pass on. Kelby has always had a wonderful time at competitions meeting new people. Most of the dancers she meet become lifelong friends with and looks for them every year to find out how their dance and lives are going.
I love all of the confidence that the world of dance has given my daughter and the amazing young people that she comes in contact with. All of the dancers she has met has a confidence and presence about them that lets you know that they will become successful adults that we all will be proud of! Thank you for starting this project to help these young performers to built relationships in a positive safe environment!!!

I recieved my first awesome dancer button ever, from darnell williams at a recent showstoppers competition. He is a really good tapper and I appreciate this more than some trophy from the competition.
